Exchange 2010 to 2013 migration : Public Folder Migration - Part 11

Public Folder Migration

Refer Part10: 2013 Exchange DAG Configuration

Make sure the account which is going to perform the migration is added to (Organizational Management and Recipient Management) security groups.
Only one PublicFolderMigration job is allowed at a time for an organization.

    I m migrating public folder 2010 to 2013

    When i do :

    Get-PublicFolderMigrationRequest | Get-PublicFolderMigrationRequestStatistics -IncludeReport | Format-List

    I have a lot of line like this

    it scared me, what does it means ? Do i do something wrong?
    I have let it work
    And when i check status i have this :

    Statut: Failed
    Détails status : Failed other
    Syncstages : Copying message
    Estimed transfert size : 0
    Pourcentcomplete : 95

    What do i do? Can You help me? I m a little scared right now

      Hi,

      You need to disable or delete the system folders.

      Get-publicfolder \Non_IPM_subtree -Recurse | Disable-MailPublicFolder

      These folders might never been used, prior to your legacy migration from 2003/2007 Exchange.

      After deleting these folder, you can resume the migration.

    Very informative blog, thanks for sharing the step wise guide to migrate exchange 2010 to 2013. it describe that how to migrate exchange server and move public folder data from between Exchange server. I found the automate tool from http://www.lepide.com/exchangemigrator/ which performs exchange server migration, move entire resources between two Exchange Servers like mailbox or public folder properties, permissions.
